Gizem studied Biomedical Sciences at St George's University of London. She then went on to study Clinical Neuroscience (MSc) at UCL. 

Gizem always had a thirst for knowledge and a passion for teaching. Whilst working as Research Associate at the Institute of Neurology UCL she started her tutoring business, supporting students through their GCSEs and A-Levels. 

As the business evolved Gizem quickly gained popularity amongst students. It became evident that this was more than a part time job. In 2015 she teamed up with her husband, Kenan, and they decided to take the chance and make this thriving business into a full-time venture. 

Kenan, also studied in London, completing his degree in Law and Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School.  He successfully trained as a solicitor in a central London law firm and specialised in criminal and prison law.

Eventually, Kenan decided to join forces with his wife and expand the ever growing tuition business. After outgrowing the dining room of their own home, they took the plunge and set up their first office in Welling, Bexley. Within 3 years they expanded into the premises next door and now their offices boast 7 classrooms, 2 of which are set up for larger group classes.

As they approach the 10 year anniversary since they opened their doors, they continue to work tirelessly supporting and mentoring students through their school journey. GZM Tutorial have taught 1000s of students in and around the Bexley Borough and they will continue their good work for many years to come.
